Bridge Music Jazz Presents Joy Ellis Quartet (London)

Weekly Jazz Series from jazz promotion body Bridge Music featuring UK and international touring bands and original music from Scottish based jazz ensembles. Joy Ellis, London-based pianist, singer and composer brings her love of groove and dance music into her classical roots to create a fresh and soulful new jazz sound of harmony and improvisation. Past gig highlights include Ronnie Scott’s and the Barbican Pit Theatre in London, and  the London Jazz Festival. She was recently selected as one of fourteen emerging artists to work with Mercury nominated singer ESKA on a composition residency in Manchester. Joy is accompanied by award-winning guitarist Rob Luft, drummer Adam Osmianski, and double bassist Henrik Jensen, who feature on her upcoming original album ‘Life on Land’. 8pm, £7/£6   Venue is a mix of seated and standing. Tables are allocated on a first come first served basis, (£7/£6) on door, seating can also be reserved in advance see below. Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, reserved seating is available to book at £7 per person in advance. Seating is for the entire night and you can stay on after the jazz sessions, our late night bands play from 1o,30pm - 2am. Please fill in our booking form to arrange. Our cabaret style tables seat 4 to 6 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 3am
