Bridge Music Jazz Presents Eyal Lovett Trio (Israel)

Weekly Jazz Series from promotion body Bridge Music featuring UK and international touring bands and original music from Scottish based jazz ensembles. Israeli born pianist-composer Eyal Lovett creates a wide range of music. Although classically trained, he is deeply immersed in the jazz tradition, as well as in the diverse music located in Israel and the Middle East. Eyal’s latest album – “Tales From a Forbidden Land” was released to critical acclaim on November 2016, featuring the wonderful Gilad Hekselman on guitar. The trio have toured in Denmark, Berlin, Poland and Israel, playing in different venues, including the renowned Aarhaus International Jazz Festival. The trio features Eyal Lovett (piano), Mathias Jensen (bass) and Aidan Lowe (drums), as the music draws inspiration from traditional and contemporary jazz, with classical and middle eastern influences. There is an emphasis on lyricism and emotional content, while maintaining a strong and pulsing groove. 8pm, £7/£6   Venue is a mix of seated and standing. Tables are allocated on a first come first served basis, (£7/£6) on door, seating can also be reserved in advance see below. Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, reserved seating is available to book at £7 per person in advance. Seating is for the entire night and you can stay on after the jazz sessions, our late night bands play from 1o,30pm - 1am. Please fill in our booking form to arrange. Our cabaret style tables seat 4 to 6 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 3am
