Bridge Music Jazz Presents Fergus McCreadie Italian Quartet

8pm - 10.30pm Weekly Jazz Series from jazz promotion body Bridge Music featuring UK and international touring bands and original music from Scottish based jazz ensembles. Award winning Scottish pianist and composer Fergus McCreadie presents an exciting night with top Italian muscians, Mindaugus Sambras (guitar), Michelangelo Scandroglio (bass) and Mattia Galeotti. Awarded the ‘Best Instrumentalist’ Award at the Scottish Jazz Awards aged only 20, Fergus McCreadie is one of Scotland’s most exciting young artists. For the past 4 years, he has been a mainstay of the Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife, Aberdeen and Islay Jazz Festivals. His debut album with his trio, ‘Turas,’ has been praised for ‘reflecting his engagement with the Scottish landscape and musical tradition while also showing a firm grasp of the Jazz Piano tradition.’ (Jazz In Europe). As well as the Best Instrumentalist award, Fergus is a winner of the coveted Peter Wittingham Jazz Award, the Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the year u17s Prize, the Guy Jones, Joe Temperly and George Duncan prizes from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and the Linda Trahan Memorial Prize from St Andrews University. He has also been featured on BBC Radio Scotland regularly over the past 4 years, and has appeared alongside Bob Mintzer, Mike Stern, Iain Ballamy, Tommy Smith, Kestustis Vaiginis, Pat from Hue and Cry, Mario Caribe, Paul Towndrow and Alyn Cosker.   Doors 7pm on stage 8pm Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, you can book and pay online, £7 per person. Seating is for the entire night and you can stay on after the jazz sessions for the next band playing from 11pm - 1am at no additional cost. Please fill in our booking form to arrange. Alternatively pay £7 on door on night. Our cabaret style tables seat 4 to 6 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 1.30am
