Bridge Music Jazz Presents Boptimism Quintet

Bridge Jazz is a weekly series at Swing from jazz promotion body Bridge Music, created by Edinburgh Jazz Bar founder Bill Kyle.
Featuring UK and international touring bands and original music from Scottish based jazz ensembles. Boptimism was formed from the remnants of the Keith Edwards Quintet, after the sad passing of Jazz Bar owner Bill Kyle. Drummer Alastair Morrow replaced Bill and Campbell Normand came in as piano player. The band is a permanent feature in Edinburgh's Jazz Bar and have just recorded their debut album of Donald Corbett originals, a mix of swinging hard bop, jazz waltzes and Latin tunes. Keith Edwards (sax), Donald Corbett (trumpet), Campbell Normand (piano), Ed Kelly (bass), Alastair Morrow (drums) Doors 7pm on stage 8pm Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, you can book and pay online, £7 per person. Seating is for the entire night and you can stay on after the jazz sessions for the next band playing from 11pm - 1am at no additional cost. Please fill in our booking form to arrange. Alternatively you can pay on door on night £7  Our cabaret style tables seat 4 to 6 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 1.30am
