Glasgow Jazz Festival, MacFarlane McNeil Soul Jazz Collective

9pm - midnight A special Glasgow Jazz Festival Event The MacFarlane/McNeil Soul Jazz Collective play the great repertoire from the main artists in the soul genre with an outstanding live band and special guest vocalists from throughout the UK and internationally. The Collective have a stellar line-up for this exciting Glasgow Jazz Festival Event, including just announced winner of Best Album in this year's Scottish Jazz Awards pianist Alan Benzie. The outstanding soul singer Madaleine Pritchard will also be a special guest on the night. As an artist she has toured the world extensively and performed at famous festivals worldwide. Opening for Tom Jones, Al Green, The Fun Lovin Criminals, Dr John,  Edwin Starr, Mayer Hawthorne, Hue and Cry and British soul diva Alice Russell. Other highlights include live stage appearances with The Average White Band, Edwin Collins, The Skids, Paul Carrack of Mike and The Mechanics, Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), Karine Polwart, Salsa Celtica, and Jon Fratelli. Malcolm MacFarlane (guitar), Gordon McNeil (saxophones),  Alan Benzie (keys), Madaleine Pritchard (vocals), Gus Stirrat (bass), Tom Gordon (drums) 9pm, doors 8pm £10   Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, you can book and pay online, £10 per person. Seating is for the entire night. Please fill in our booking form to arrange. Alternatively you can pay on door on night. Our cabaret style tables seat 4 to 6 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 3am
