9pm - 11.45pm (doors 8pm) MacFarlane/McNeil Soul Jazz Collective Featuring soul singer and songwriter Madaleine Pritchard Malcolm MacFarlane (guitar), Gordon McNeil (saxophones), Eliot Murray key/vocals, Mario Caribe (bass) The MacFarlane/McNeil Soul Jazz Collective has been brewing as a much-talked about idea between the co-leaders guitarist Malcolm MacFarlane and saxophonist Gordon McNeil for sometime. Following a partnership with Swing founder Emma Marsh, the idea will now become a monthly fixture at Swing. The plan is to play the great repertoire that exists from the main artists in the soul genre with an awesome live band. Putting together amazing line-ups from the unprecedented number of creative musicians currently working at a very high level of ability in Scotland. The Collective's main mission is to deliver the huge pool of talent that exists to a soul-loving Glasgow live music audience every month. Special guest artists from Scotland, the UK and internationally will appear as featured vocalist monthly. As an artist Madaleine Pritchard has toured the world extensively and performed at famous venues and festivals worldwide. Madaleine has opened for The Fun Lovin Criminals, Tom Jones, Al Green, Dr.John, Mayer Hawthorne, Hue and Cry, Edwin Starr, and British soul diva Alice Russell Other higlights include live stage appearances with The Average White Band, Edwin Collins, The Skids, Paul Carrack of Mike And The Mechanics, Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), Karine Polwart, Salsa Celtica, The Red Hot Chillie Pipers, Ian Anderson MBE (Jethro Tull) and Jon Fratelli. Doors 8pm £7/£6   Booking Reserved Seating Should you wish to guarantee seating, you can book and pay online, £7 per person. Seating is for the entire night, please fill in our booking form to arrange. Alternatively just pay £7 on door. Tables do free up later at night. Our cabaret style tables seat 4 so smaller groups may be sharing and larger groups split over several tables. Club open 7pm – 1.30am
